Diving and Water Sports Events Requirements

The Chamber of Diving and Water Sports supports all the events in the sector that aims to promote tourism and the destination. Also, encourages the members to organize events that would boost their marketing, benefits and values, and embrace social responsibilities.

Please note that the following are the basic requirements needed to get the required permit for your event from the relevant entities

Applying for the event 45 days in advance.

It is required to notify the CDWS 45 days before the event’s date. In order to follow the needed process and notify all relevant authorities and entities. In case of failing to notify the CDWS as previously mentioned, your request shall not be taken into consideration. Submitting the Required Documents

  • The operation name, contact info, location, and the CDWS number (If you are an event company or event organizer and interested in organizing a diving or water sports-related event, we recommend collaborating with one of our members) https://cdws.travel/members/water-sports-centers
  • Letter of request in Arabic, stamped by the member and signed by the technical manager, you must also indicate the time and date of your event (check the attachment as a reference).
  • A total number of participants, National IDs and Passports, nationality, and the place of residence of the participants (the final updated list of participants should be shared with the CDWS two days before the event).
