The Chamber of Diving and Water Sports is seeking diving instructors to work as Quality assurance Auditors.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Educational Background: The candidate must hold a university degree.
  • Languages: Proficiency in at least one foreign language.
  • Nationality: The candidate must be of Egyptian nationality.
  • Report Writing: Proficiency in writing reports in Arabic is essential.
  • Certifications: The candidate must hold a valid professional instructor certification equivalent to at least the International Level II according to ISO international standards.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer usage and its applications is required.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with technical specifications for maintenance and testing of equipment used in diving and water sports.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of seven years of work experience in the field of diving tourism and water sports.
  • Management Experience: The candidate should have previous experience in managerial positions.
  • Reputation and Conduct: Must have a good reputation, integrity, and sound character.
  • Team Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively with a focus on accuracy and dedication.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess services provided by chamber members according to the highest standards, ensuring that the minimum required levels for service delivery are achieved or exceeded.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to chamber members.
  • Collaborate with fellow auditors to ensure efficiency, harmony, integrity, and consistency.
  • Implement chamber strategies for operational and technical excellence for members.
  • Understand, explain, and adhere to the chamber’s policies, rules, and technical regulations.
  • Communicate with the auditing team to execute chamber strategies, resolve various and complex issues, and provide regular reports to the technical management.
  • Identify and maximize opportunities for improving and developing quality assurance management.
  • Keep abreast of ongoing education in local and international technologies.
  • Officially collaborate with inspectors from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities during scheduled visits.
  • Conduct monthly and annual technical inspections and submit reports to technical management.
  • Provide weekly performance reports to the Quality Assurance Department.
  • Update the technical database of members in coordination with the Quality Assurance Coordinator.
  • Investigate violations and incidents accurately and objectively, submitting detailed professional reports to the Quality Assurance Department, including recommended actions according to rules, regulations, ethics, and sanctions.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Client Interaction: Experience in strategic planning.
  • Management Experience: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at senior management levels.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to conduct technical conversations (in both Arabic and English) with members.
  • Crisis Management: Proven ability to handle critical situations.
  • Experience in Diving Industry: A strong record as a professional instructor with experience in service delivery management.
  • Computer Skills: Excellent computer proficiency.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in at least two languages.

  • No prior violations as a professional/technical manager in the sector.

  • Must own a car and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the job.
