Dear colleagues CDWS members,
With regards to the moorings project held between the Chamber of
Diving and Water Sports and South Sinai National Park.
Please be informed that CDWS financially sponsored the
installation of 43 moorings and maintenance of 5 moorings starting 1 April till
24 April 2016 in Sharm El Sheikh as follow:

Installation
of 2 moorings and maintenance of 5 moorings in Marsa Breka area.

Installation
of 7 moorings in Marsa Ghozlany area.

Installation
of 7 moorings in Marsa Kharyta area.
-
Installation
of 5 moorings in Kahraba area.
-
Installation
of 5 moorings in Temple area.
-
Installation
of 7 moorings in ElGardens area.
-
Installation
of 10 moorings in Ras Bob area.
Installing and maintaining work for other moorings in further
areas in Sharm Elsheikh is still ongoing.
CDWS is asking for your feedback concerning the state of these
moorings and if there is a real improvement in the moorings condition.
Your feedback and suggestions make the big difference.
And finally CDWS is asking for the help of her members -
operations and dive and snorkeling instructors:
PLEASE advice your boat captains about the best way to moor the
yachts for the sustainability of the moorings. Some of the new moorings in Ras
Bob are deteriorated already due to the severe tie of the yachts captains onto
the moorings.
