We are aware that there is a great deal of confusion over the issue of the opening of beaches in the Sharm el Sheikh area and we are also aware of some snorkelling activities in the Sharks Bay area.
Mr Hesham Gabr, chairman of CDWS, will this evening meet with the Governor of South Sinai and the coastguard in order to obtain some clarification on this issue.
We will update members again on this issue later this evening.
