Dear CDWS members,
In fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF), and Green Sharm Project, the CDWS is pleased to announce the launch of a new application, "CDWS ECO Monitoring" for managing and providing services to the diving and water sports professionals.
This app aims to enhance and regulate tourism activities in the national parks area, as well as monitor and track marine life, a great step that reflects the Egyptian state and the CDWS’ direction toward digital transformation in the diving and water sports sector.
As a first phase, the app will be available to all professionals registered with the CDWS. The application offers users the following features:
1. Managing and Cancel Trips: manage trips added through the trip notification App. track them, and control participation cancellation.
2. Receiving Instant Notifications: Professionals will receive direct notifications on their phones regarding the trip notifications App., important messages, announcements, and training courses offered by the CDWS.
3. Environmental Monitoring System: Monitor and track marine life by allowing professionals to upload photos/videos of targeted marine species. This contributes to building a comprehensive database that helps the environmental protection sector make informed decisions to preserve these resources, reduce pressure on dive sites, and ensure their sustainability.
4. Rewards and Incentives for Participants: By recording and monitoring marine species, the app will award points to professionals participating in environmental monitoring, which can be exchanged for rewards and incentives, encouraging and enhancing their role in environmental protection.
The app will be gradually developed to add more services, such as booking courses, exams, and others.
The app is currently available in its beta version for Android and iOS. You can download the app via the following link and log in using the same username and password as your professional account in the CDWS platform:
