Dear CDWS members,
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has issued several decrees to protect the lives and safety of tourists and diving and water sports practitioners.
These decrees are based on Ministerial Resolutions No. 444 of 2011 and no. 291 of 2021, and they outline the penalties that will be imposed on violating facilities and the disciplinary actions that will be taken against violating employees in the sector.
The decrees were issued in response to accidents, violations, and spot checks that have been conducted by the Ministry and the CDWS and they aim to maintain Egypt's reputation as a leading tourist destination.
