Dear CDWS members,
In partnership with Hepca, the CDWS is announcing the launch of an initiative to maintain and install mooring systems in Sharm Elsheikh. The project is sponsored by the Ministry of Environment and the South Sinai National Park and aims to protect coral reefs, preserve the marine environment, and enable our members to conduct daily operations sustainably.
The work will be carried out from the VIP Shrouk Liveaboard for three weeks. Kindly find attached a map highlighting the team's locations in the coming weeks.
We kindly request your cooperation to avoid approaching the safari boat to prevent disturbing the ongoing installation and ensure everyone's safety.
To ensure safety and proper use, please avoid utilizing the newly installed reef pins that lack tie ropes. These pins are not yet ready for use. Kindly use only those pins that are equipped with available tie ropes.
