Accreditation Process for Training Organizations

The CDWS is announcing new updates to the accreditation requirements of training organizations in Egypt.

Accreditation Process for Training Organizations

These updates ensure that the organizations’ training material aligns with international standards, complies with the local rules, and enhances technical and professional standards. Which ensures a higher safety standard and elevates the service level in the sector.

All training organizations, regardless of prior accreditation status, must re-apply to operate in Egypt.

This includes both new applicants and existing organizations seeking to add or update their training programs.

The application process:

1-  Submit an official request to the CDWS:

-      Attaching the organization’s training material

-      Specify the type of program your organization is offering (recreational diving, technical diving, snorkeling, first aid, etc.).

-      Include contact information and a designated representative for your organization.

-      Submit the request electronically to the following email address [email protected].

2- The CDWS will assess your application to ensure its compliance with international and local standards, after which the repetitive will be contacted to schedule a meeting.

3- A representative from the organization will meet with the CDWS team to sign the recognition agreement (attached) and review the material to ensure it aligns with Egyptian regulations.

4- Upon successful completion of the process, your organization will be listed as accredited on the CDWS website. Previously accredited organizations that do not comply with the new requirements will be removed from the website listing, through the following link: https://www.cdws.travel/diving-associations
