Issuing and Renewing Security Cards
The security cards for workers in the tourism sector are issued and renewed for establishments that are members of the CDWS — including diving centers, water sports centers, safari boats — that hold a license from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. This is done through the Tourism Workforce Database System, in accordance with the following procedures and instructions:
First: Accessing the System and Running the Protection Program
Access the Tourism Workforce Database System via the following link: www.tourismworkforce.com
Follow the instructions shown on the website regarding downloading and running the protection program through the following links:

Second: Reviewing the Data of Employees Registered in the System
After logging in to the establishment's account, you must ensure that all employees registered on the facility's account are actual employees, and review their data to verify its accuracy and completeness.
Third: Controls for Entering Data and Documents Required for Issuing Cards
To ensure ease of card issuance and avoid delays, the following controls must be adhered to:
- Full Name: Enter each employee's full name accurately, matching the name stated on the national ID card.
- National ID Number: Verify the accuracy of the national ID number registered for each employee.
- Mother's Name: Record the mother's full name, in accordance with the data stated on the birth certificate.
- Address: Ensure that the address registered in the system matches the address stated on the national ID card.
- Governorate and City: Record the governorate and city within the address data, ensuring that the data matches official documents.
- Personal Photo: Upload a recent personal photo, taken no more than six months ago, meeting passport photo specifications, in compliance with the following conditions:
The background must be white.
No sunglasses or hat.
The photo must be clear and high quality, with dimensions of 265 × 265 pixels.
No white clothing.
National ID Card Image: Attach a clear image of both sides of the national ID card (front and back) on a single page.
Fourth: Important Notes
- In the case of requesting card issuance for the purpose of data modification: The employee's linkage to the establishment must first be canceled, then re-linked to the establishment again, with the correct data to be approved entered.
- Annual Card Printing: Cards are printed automatically once a year, at the beginning of October each year, for employees already registered on the center's account in the system.
Please adhere to all the instructions mentioned above, and review the data and documents carefully before completing the procedures, to ensure the integrity of registration and to facilitate the card issuance and renewal process.
