Neues vom Roten Meer. DiveInside auf der "boot 2009" im Gespräch mit Hesham Gabr von der ägyptischen Chamber for Diving and Water Sports (Stand A80).
Hesham Gabr ist ein Self-made-Man und an agiert auf vielen Schauplätzen. Seinen Camel Dive Club gründete er vor mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten. Heute ist aus der kleinen Tauchbasis ein florierendes Unternehmen am südlichen Sinai geworden. Neu dazu gekommen ist jetzt die Geschäftsführung der CDWS (Chamber for Diving and Water Sports).

Was kann man auf den Seiten der CDWS finden? Umfassende Informationen über das Tauchen und alle anderen Wasserportarten in Ägypten. Zudem finden sich detaillierte Informationen zu den Reisezielen am Roten Meer sowie Live-Wetter. Ab Februar wird ein Schmankerl zu sehen sein: Buchautor und Wrackexperte Ned Middleton („Schlafende Schiffe“) wird Informationen und Skizzen zu den Wrack im Roten Meer zur Verfügung stellen.

Erstmals auf der boot stellt sich die 2007 gegründete "Egyptian Chamber of Diving and Water Sports" (CDWS) vor. Mit ihr stellen sich auf 240 Quadratmetern insgesamt elf Tauchbasen, Organisationen und Safarischiffer des Roten Meeres vor.
